It's quite shocking for me to see all the sugar that is put into all these drinks. The amounts are crazy huge but people don't notice them while drinking.
The equation is simple:
Sugar = Fat
Consuming a lot of sugar increases insulin levels in the blood which selectively deposits energy from food/sodas/juices into fat cells.
What do sodas and juices do to you?
Weight gain
Obesity and Diabetes
Triggers accelerated aging
Rotting teeth
Cell Damage
I don't like sodas at all since they hurt my mouth with all the fizziness but these past months I shared my bf's sodas because he gets the large cup and he always forgets to ask for a cup of water >.> anyways I noticed that after having some of his sodas I got bloated quite fast and in a few months I noticed I gained weight. I decided that I would rather stay thirsty than having sodas again and I noticed my clothes getting loose again (of course it's also because I stopped eating junk/fast food)
I love water and it wasn't hard for me to stop drinking sodas and I know for a fact that it helped me lose some of those ugly pounds I got these past months.
Juices are filled with sugar as well so for that reason I like to make my own juices and smoothies and I NEVER add sugar or any sweetener. I enjoy the sweetness of the fruits :)
Benefits of drinking water are endless!
Weight lose
Calorie Control
Clear skin
Brain booster
Helps digestion
Helps eliminate toxins
Gives you energy
and so many more!!
Drinking water at the right time maximizes its effectiveness on the human body:
Two glasses of water after waking up helps activate internal organs.
One glass of water 30 mins before a meal helps digestion.
One glass of water before taking a shower helps lower blood pressure.
One glass of water before going to bed helps you avoid a stroke or heart attack.
I always keep in my room two 16 oz. glass bottles and refill them with water all the time (I don't like the plastic ones since it helps contamination and I don't want to be part of the problem) and I usually drink around 64 oz / 2 liters per day.
If you are drinking sugary drinks I strongly suggest you to stop and make a change because we only live once and we better treat our bodies like temples and only allow good things!
There so many random moments in life to write about so I decided to make "Random Mondays".
What will I write about? Random stuff that I'm enjoying lately and doesn't apply to the other categories of my blog. I'll write about my Korean Dramas, movies, anime, not so healthy food (for cheat days), organization stuff, shopping, thirft shopping and so much more!
I have many things to share with you guys so look forward to all these random things from now on! :D
So this is Psy latest music video and it is filled with lots of Korean culture. Thanks to kdramas ( I know I know lol ) I learned a lot about Korean culture and I decided to explain some of the things that we see in throughout the video.
The main point in the video is that Psy is a rich guy who is a total jerk and you can see the irony in the tittle because he's not a gentleman at all.
The dance that Psy does is called the "Arrogant Dance" which first was introduced by Brown Eyed Girls
Arrogant Dance
Who are the celebrities we see in Gentleman?
Just like Gangnam Style we see a lot of celebrities in this video.
The main girl is Ga-in and she is from Brown Eyed Girls and as I mentioned before that is the group that first introduced the Arrogant Dance.

This guy is Haha who is a singer and a comedian.

What are the Korean foods we see in Gentleman?
If you had watched Korean dramas you may notice that the characters always go this kind of food trucks/tents which are called "Po Jang Ma Cha" where they usually buy Soju beer and street food :)
Food was great!!
You can see Soju (green) and Beer (brownish)
What is that big noodle that Psy is holding and eating? It's a rice cake called Garraetteok and it's used to make another dish called Tteokbokki which you can see in the table with a red/orange sauce
Psy eating Garraetteok
Ga-in eating Tteokbokki
Here Psy is eating Udong that is simple hot noodle soup.

Wet Psy
Gonna make you sweat. Gonna make you wet, You know who I am "Wet Psy"
In the variety show "Infinite Challenge" Psy lifted his arms to reveal his sweaty armpits. And yeah Sweaty armpits = Wet Psy
I have a headache after writing all this haha but it was fun to recognize many things that I watched in Kdramas and personal research :)
I hope you can watch the video again and know some of the things I explained here :)
Would you like to add something that I miss? Please do so in the comments below! :)
If you had read my latest post you may know that I made some changes in my blog.
I want to write about fitness since I think it's as important as having a good diet. I'm not an expert and you know how it is that you should consult your doctor before doing any exercises so please do so .
The exercises I'll show you in future posts are easy and everybody can do it since most of them are low impact :) So it shouldn't affect your kness as many of the high intensity ones do.
I think it should be fine to give my numbers here as well to keep track of things and as I said before my goal is to reach 95-100 lbs which is a healthy weight for my height, bone structure and doctor's opinion.
Height: 5'2
Weight: 105 Lbs (currently)
I'm excited for this new series in my blog and hopefully I can help you even if it's in a small way to make you get up and move! :)
