EOS Lip Balms
Summer Fruit, Sweet Mint, Lemon Drop

 

My lips get chapped pretty easily (That's the reason I need to apply lib butters over any lipstick since they are quite moiturizing :D) so I tried many lip balms available but none of them were good enough for my lips until I tried EOS :)

 

Formula is quite nice, smooth and they are the only ones that keep my lips moisturized and I love the round shape! it just looks so cute and fun! :)

 

My favorite is Sweet Mint :) it makes your lips feel quite refreshed! I like Summer Fruit and Honeysuckle Honeydew a lot as well! :) I bought Lemon Drop because it has SPF 15 I think I got an expired one because the texture was quite grainy and not soft at all, maybe I got an old one as I said but I don't think I'll try it again since I'm quite content with all the other ones :)

I love this rose gold eyeshadow, it is so pigmented! Unfortunately I don't think you can find it easily here in the States :(

Maybelline Define-a-line in Ebony Black, It's so creamy! one of my favorite eyeliners ever :)

Wet n Wild in Heather Silk

As you may know I love Wet n Wild <3 I love how pigmented blushes are! and this color is so easy to use it's like the perfect pink for this winter.



Lips



Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Frosting, Revlon Matte in Pink Pout

I'm not into dark lips so much, I tried some but I don't think I can pull them off :( Anyways I've been loving these combo. Revlon 02 Pink Pout topped with Revlon lip butter in
I like having pink lips, it's so girly and cute :)





Eos Lip Balm in Sweet Mint

Eos lip balm is a must! My lips gets chapped easily :(  Eos Lip Balm before lipstick and my lips don't get cracky and dry :)

Wet n Wild in Through the Grapevine and Undercover

These two nail polishes stood out more for me this month :) gotta love my pink-ish stuff! I love the brushes in these ones! So easy to apply!!



Shampoo



Herbal Essences Touchably Smoothly

This shampoo smell delicious and makes my hair feels pretty good! I'm quite happy with it :)

My October Favorites

I can'r believe we are in November already! Time is passing by so fast! Anyways here are my October favorites :D

Eye Shadows

Revlon Colorstay in Coffe Bean last quite a lot! it doesn't have the best pigmentation but I usually don't do extremely dark smokey eyes so I'm quite content with it. (I think Revlon quads have new packaging)

Covergirl in Mink is such a nice color. I love it. I usually use it when I want a really easy simple look :)

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe is nice but it doesn't go as smoothly as other color tattoos, I use it as shadow alone (most of other girls use it as base) apply it with my fingertips and blend well, easy and quick.



Lipsticks

NYX in Java 622 is really shimmery and not drying at all, I like it :)

Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee I use to top any lipstick because as I said before my lips get dry quite fast (>.<) so they need to be moisturized quite a lot and this lip butter goes really good with the lipsticks I'm using lately.

Revlon in Just Enough Buff such a nice color with a little bit of shimmer :)



Blush

NYX in Spice is a lovely color, it's shimmery so no need to apply any highlighter :) I didn't use any other blush :) Love it!



Nail Polishes

Wet n Wild Fastdry in Gray's Anatomy is a beautiful color, it looks different depending on the lightning/angle.

Wet n Wild Megalast in Wet Cement is my favorite fall color! it just looks beautiful!


Hair



Pantene Beautiful Lenghts Replenish Mask. I have waist lenght hair :) So i need to take care of it a lot so there aren't split ends and doesn't look dry and without life, This mask is quite good and smells great! I use it once a week :)

My Foundation Routine

Hello there! :D

Today I decided to write about my foundation routine. It's quite simple but works great for me :) I only wear my foundation in my T zone and I don't touch the rest of my face. I wish I had perfect skin like my mom and didn't need to use all these products :( ... but oh well :D

These are my favorite face products :)

Foundation:

I use Revlon Colorstay in two/three shades. Normally I use 200 Nude (NC 25) because as I said in my skin care routine I avoid the sun as much as I can. Certain events like going to the water park, amusement park or waiting in line for my Nightwish concert under the evil sun burns my skin :( and makes it tan a few days later, so when that happens I use 240 Medium Beige (NC 27 pro) In winter I use 200 Nude (NC 25) or 180 Sand Beige (NC 20-25) or a mix of both for a great match :)

Will I repurchase it? YES!



Powder:

I love this Maybelline Dream Matte Powder. It's light weight and sets my foundation pretty good. Like the foundations I use two different tones. When I get more color (tan) I use Medium Sand. During the winter months I use Light Cream.

Concealer:

I tried many concealers before but all of them were too greasy, heavy, or didn't stay long enough. I bought it in an impulse and I'm glad I did. The moment I tried it I fell in love with it! Maybelline Instant Age Rewind is so light and it feels like nothing is there! and stays all day long! so much love!

BB Cream:

I had to throw this one here as well :) I usually wear this one when I stay home. It has pretty strong scent it doesn't bother me too much though. I can't use it too often because it sometimes breaks me out :/

Will I repurchase it? No, I'm just trying to use this up and no more. I'll try some other BB creams :)

My Skin Care Routine

Ever since I was little I've been pretty consistent with my skin care, my mom was always telling me to take care of it by keeping it  clean and moisturized and avoiding the evil sun :D

 

I always remove my make up and wash my face before going to bed, I always use toner after cleansing it and I use my moisturizer and eye cream. I love to wake up feeling my face clean and soft. Same routine in the morning except I don't need to remove any make up lol. 

 

I really enjoy doing my "rituals" morning and night :)

 



 

 

 

 

These are the products that work for my skin type. Whenever I tried something new I had to come back to use these because other products don't seem to work as well as these ones. I bought the whole Clinique line for combination/oily skin and it was such a waste of money :( ... These Products are cheap and great in my opinion!




Favorite Products

Make Up Remover:



Equate Eye Makeup Remover

I used to use the Neutrogena Oil Free Makeup Remover but one day I couldn't find it so I bought the store brand one Equate and I'm glad I did because it works just as good as the Neutrogena one and it's two dollars cheaper! Yeah! I love to save whenever I can :)


Cleanser:



Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser

I think I use this cleanser for over 6 years. I love how easily it removes make up, dirt and oil without over drying my skin. I use this whenever I take a shower at night The Garnier one (in my last monthly favorites ) I use it in the morning :)


Toner:



Neutrogena Alcohol-Free Toner

I started to use this one at the same time of the Neutrogena Cleanser :) it's another product I can't live without :D I tried some other toners but most of them have Alcohol and it's too drying for my skin and makes it feel so tight and uncomfortable. This on the other hand is gentle and removes some imputities I might have left from the cleanser and reconditions my skin :)


Moisturizers

I tried many moisturizers and these are the ones that work best for my skin. I tried the Clinique one and broke my skin out so bad!!

Day Moisturizer:



Clean & Clear Mattifying Moisturizer

 

 

I like to use this during the day. My skin is oily/combo so I need something that mattifies my skin so I don't look like a grease ball (>.<) Another thing I like about this moisturized is that it has SPF 15 so I feel protected during the day (my foundation has SPF as well :D) I didn't notice a white cast when taking pictures but I'm not saying it won't happen. The only bad thing about this product is that I can't find it easily, I used to buy it at Walmart but they don't carry it anymore so I have to go to Harmons to get it which is a little annoying because I have to drive quite far :/


Night Moisturizer:



Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer

I use this moisturizer for years and I like it a lot! It leaves my skin so soft. It has Salicylic Acid to prevent pimples and even though it has that ingredient it doesn't dry out my skin at all. I love this product so much and it's so cheap :)


Eye Cream:



Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Daily Anti-Fatigue Eye Cream

My eyes are really sensitive and this one works wonders but unfortunately it's discontinued :( So now I'm in the hunt for a new eye cream. I might start using the other Garnier eye cream they have because I know I don't have any sensitive problems with it (I tried it before). I tried Olay eye creams but they might be too strong or I'm allergic to something but they make my eyes red and teary.

My September Favorites

Hi :)

I decided to post about my September Favorites. These are the products are reached for the most. I have my own make up routine that's pretty consistent but since it was summer I used more "vibrant" colors.

I think my summer was a pinky one :) In my opinion pink shades are quite refreshing and cute! and I wore  them quite a lot.

This are the products I used the most:

I think these products are quite good, they are inexpensive but they work wonders! I'm always looking for a good price in things, if I can find something that works as well as high-end stuff I'm all for it.


Lips:



Revlon Lip Butter: Sugar Frosting
Revlon: Silver City Pink

I love this combo! As I said in my Revlon Favorite Lipsticks I love to top any lipstick with a lip butter so my lips don't get dry. Silver City Pink topped with Sugar frosting was my favorite combo this month! I tried to keep my summer look as much as I could since it's still hot :)

Eyes:



Wet n Wild: Sweet as Candy
Maybelline Define-A-Line: Brownish Black

I love Wet n Wild eyeshadows!! They are soo pigmented it's crazy!! I used the pinky shade all over the lid and I used a brown shade for the crease (not the same of this palette because it's too shimmery! It's a brown I used in my normal routine. I wanted to have the pink really stand out!) I used this brown eyeliner because I didn't want to have a harsh line and brown is quite nice for summer in my opinion!

Elf: Pink Passion
Physicians Formula Happy Booster: Natural

Again with my pink shades lol. I love this Elf blush it's so pigmented and nice! it's a quite bright pink and I don't know makes me happy :) then I used this Physicians Formula as highlighter <3 quite nice combo for me :)

Maybelline Color Show: Chiffon Chic 160

I know pink overload! xD This were my go to shades this month! Short pink nails are so cute!


Skin Care:



Garnier Skin Renew
The Brusher Gel-Cleanser

I have my own skin care routine and I wanted to try something else. I like it so far! It leave my skin soft! I hate cleansers that leave the skin squeaky clean >.< and this one cleans and leaves it soft. It has a quite strong fragrance which doesn't bother me but I wanted to mention it in case you want to try but can't stand strong odors.

Favorite Revlon Lipsticks

So today while I was out with the bf I was thinking I should try to post girlier things lol ... My blog is filled with music and things I do here in Utah but I should also include about the beauty stuff I like as well :)

Today I decided to make a post about my favorite Revlon lipsticks.

I usually don't like to spend too much money in general ( I like to think I'm quite wise with my money) so finding good drugstore lipsticks is great!!

I'll start with Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks

These are sheer and I love to wear them when I want somethiing low maintenance. I don't need a mirror to check if it's wonky or something. So easy to use and the color are for me :)


Favorite Lip Butters

I usually use these Lip Butters to top some other drier-formula lipsticks. My lips get chapped quite fast so I need to keep them moiturized as much as I can. I found that they make a nice combo for my lip routine (I don't like lip glosses >.<)
I also wear them when i'm at home and I want just a little bit of colot and moisture :)

Soft Nude

I love this nude color and the formula is so creamy! I like how it applies so smoothly!

Revlon Super Lustrous Matte Lipstick



Nude Attitude

This is my ultimate favorite lipstick ever!! This is the third I'm finishing! It's always in my purse and definitely my go to lipstick! Since the formula is a tad dry I apply Creme Brulee lip butter :)

As you can see I'm more of a nude lipstick kind of girl! I love that my eyes take center stage :) and also nude lipsticks are cute <3

Fun tag to do

Today is a chilly day! Last night I had to sleep with one more blanket! You can tell that Fall is almost here and I kind of like that! I'm excited to take all my fall clothes out of the storage room :)

 

Today I decided to make a fun tag I found while browsing the web.
Here it goes:

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
My hair is wavy.

2. What is your natural hair color?
Brown. Never dyed it.
 
3. Do you dye it yourself or go to the salon?
I've never dyed it. It's all natural.

4. How often do you wash your hair? Summer everyday!
I hate that feeling when it's all oily >.<. In winter every two days.

5. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?
Most of the time is down, sometimes half up half down. I like to straight and curl it.

6. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
I do it all myself, I think I do a decent job.

7. How often to you change your nail polish?
Usually it last for a week, I use base and top coat so it rarely chips. I only change it because I want to use more of the colors I have.

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, too or just in the summer?
Just in the summer.

9. How long does it take to put on your makeup?
Ususally it takes 10-15 mins.

10. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
I do my face first.

11. Do you "collect" makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
I just buy what I need. I like to use everything I have till it's gone.

12. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Never.

13. Do you do a full face of makeup every day?
I guess I do, I like to look polished but my make up is also minimal ^_^;;

14. Do you wear makeup when you are home alone (or with family)?
I usually use Garnier BB cream, curl my lashes and lip butter by Revlon, that's all :)

15. Will you leave the house without makeup?
Yeah no problem

16. How many high end products do you have?
Not so many and it's fine with me :)

17. How often do you wash your makeup brushes?
Hmm usually every two weeks ... I use sponges for my foundation so I throw them away quite often.

18. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you are getting dressed?
Nah I just wear what I feel like that moment.

19. How often do you change your handbag?
All the time, it depends what I'm wearing that day.

20. What time do you get up & go to sleep?
I get up around 6 and go to sleep around midnight.

Usually two or three times a week.

Right-handed
