King Rusty dozing off!!

You know it's getting really hot when your little boy is dozing off every few minutes!



Oh I'm awake! I'm awake!



But ...Why am I so tired?

King Rusty's frustration!

The weather was pretty nice lately not so cold :) I was able to wear a jacket here and there maybe a beanie and scarf nice weather for fall clothes! ... but that was until Wednesday (>.>) It started to snow so it got cold pretty fast! Snow usually starts in mid November so it was quite drastic :(

Today I had plans with King Rusty, we were going to go play at the park but everything is covered with snow and since it happened so suddenly I wasnt able to get him a new winter jacket and boots so his cute pawns don't get too cold therefore no play day for him :(



 

I found King Rusty in his favorite spot of the house  looking outside...

It seemed like he knew that our play date was off thanks to the snow :(

How sad to see him disappointed! I know he wanted to play in the park but he's getting a little sick because of this crazy weather so going outside is a big NO NO :(

Poor boy but I can't let him get a cold! His health comes first! So I told him I will play with him inside all he wants :D

He looked outside once more with a disappointed face ...

And laid down looking all so sad. (ToT)

Is it snowing where you live? If you have a pets please make sure they are warm and protected before going outside! :)

Now I'm off to play with the King of the House! :)

Learning the hard way

King Rusty wants to play the whole time :) so we played like always but he wasn't satisfied just yet but I needed to take a shower.
I told him "after my shower we can play all you want, just give me a few minutes :D"
And so I went to take my shower.
After that I went to the living room and I found this horrific scene!!

 

Oh no!! He chewed the whole box of  pencils my mom got!!
I told him "what did you do??" and he picked one with his mouth and was moving it left and right left and right.

Then put it down like if he was writing!

Maybe he wanted to write a complaint against me for leaving him when he wanted to play!! Yeah maybe that was the reason he did it! but the pencils just broke while he tried to do it

I wanted to take some pics of the evidence so my mom can see what happened but look at him!! Posing so proud of his bad work!

Then I told him "Bad Boy" he knows when I say that I'm upset! and he seemed a little embarrased

 

 

 

But then looked aways like saying " hmph it's your fault for leaving me alone, deal with it!"

 



Finally he moved and I took the pic of the evidence! (even though I have so many already but I needed one of just the damages lol) I learned the hard way! Never leave him alone in hyper mode lol!

And then he came again and lay next to the broken pencils like saying "are you done?? can we play now??"

Smiling King Rusty

There's nothing better than see King Rusty happy! I love his beautiful smile :) such a cute little boy!

He is quite smart. You know how it is when you say "Cheese!" and everybody smiles? Well my boy does the same!

But first I need to catch his attention so he looks at the camera...

And then I say "Cheese!!" and he shows me his commercial worth smile! *pure love*

King Rusty and the Lunch Box

This story is about how King Rusty, in his quest to find a friend, got confused and made a huge mess

It was a normal sunny day, my mom and I went to buy some groceries and when we got home we noticed something out of place in the living room, I got closer and this is what I found:

"Oh it's just my mom's lunch box! Hmm what is it doing here laying on the floor?" I thought :D (My mom liked her lunch box because it loooked like a purse:)
But when I took a closer look I couldn't believe my eyes!!

 

Oh no! what happened here?! My mom was so sad! She loved her lunch box! :(
I wanted to pick it up to throw it away but King Rusty took it and looked at me very serious.

I told him "Bad Boy!!" because he did something really really bad!! but then the next thing I knew is that he was running away with the lunch box!!

I followed him! He went to the family room and didn't want to give me the lunch box! I told him that I needed to throw it away but he got even more protective of it!!

But then it hit me, I finally understood what happened ... I could tell by the way he was looking ... He thought that this was his new friend, maybe he thought that this was like a weird giraffe (because of the print lol) ... Oh poor lirrle boy!! He felt lonely when we went out so he desperately tried to find company!

So I told him "I promise you I'll get you a new friend pretty soon!!"
He looked at me like saying "Do you promise?"
And I said "I promise!" :)

A dangerous friendship

After the tragic death of Pink Bunny (you can read the story here) King Rusty was alone ... Poor little boy! I can only imagine that how lonely he felt ... after the incident he was so quiet and lost in his thoughts maybe remembering the good old times...



 

But while he was immersed in his own thoughts he noticed something in one of the garden walls, He kept moving his little head like trying to understand what was going on there

He then went to the wall and he looked at me like saying "Hey come here there's something interesting you have to see!! I think I found my new friend!! :D"

He was so focused following it .... he was moving ... really ... slow ....

 

I went to check what was going on and to my surprise I found this poor Praying Mantis that had a bad leg :( the poor little thing was just barely moving, I'm glad King Rusty found it and was a gentle dog and didn't try to even touch it.



Can you see it?? You can see the cute arms there :D

I told King Rusty that Praying Mantis didn't feel good and couldn't play with him. He was sad because he really thought that he found a new friend. (But in all honesty I was afraid that KR got injured, I read Praying Mantis are quite aggresive and one even killed a poor hummingbird o__O)

I picked it up with an elastic I have in my pocket lol and I could clearly see the bad leg :( Poor Mantis!! I got amazed how beautiful it was though! with the red antennas and cute little face with huge eyes like an anime :3 ... I took it to somewhere safe so she can heal her leg.(Green Mantis are female)



How cuts is that?? Cute Mantis!

King Rusty was sad! he thought he found a new friend! but it wasn't meant to be, who know what would have happened if these two guys decided to play >.> .... I really think I would have been a dangerous friendship for both of them!

Friendship Gone Wrong!

This is based on real life events!
This is the story of King Rusty (English Springer Spaniel)  and Pink Bunny.

Ever since they met it was a match made in Heaven! They played together a lot, took some naps when they were tired, they did everythiing together! Rusty never left her side, not even for a little moment!

One day I told King Rusty:

"Please let me have Pink Bunny for a moment, she's too dirty and stinky! I need to give her a bath :D"

He then held Pink bunny by her neck and started to run!! he was so fast! I couldn't keep up!!

Finally he got tired to run away!! ... I tried to convince him that Pink Bunny needed a shower and that she would comeback to play again with him :D

But he didn't listen ... He just looked away ignoring my pleads!! I just wanted to give her a bath! But I guess in his mind I was doing the worst! He wanted Pink Bunny only for him!

But then the unthinkable happened!! He glared at me like saying "Pink Bunny is mine and no one else's!"

"If I can't have her for me only no one can!!!"

And that's how Pink Bunny died ... Don't worry I fixed Pink Bunny :D but they no longer play together.

The king of the house

Behold! The king of the house! King Rusty!! He's an English Springer Spaniel :)

My mom wanted a dog but we weren't sure if we were ready for the big responsibility.

We had an English Cocker (similar to the springer but smaller) but she had to stay in Bolivia when we moved here to the US (her name was Lady Bri). I think we weren't ready emotionally to have another dog since we left her with our family in Bolivia, I felt I couldn't give love to another dog since my heart was with her back in Bolivia. We used to go to Bolivia and see her :) but a few months ago we received the sad news that she passed away :( we cried a lot because we really lived her sooo much!!

So months passed and we felt it was time to have a new dog to give all the love we have, we kind of felt we had Lady Bri's blessing to get another dog so we didn't have to look so much and we were blessed to have our new boy who became the king of the house! King Rusty!! He's such a beautiful being! So loving and extremely smart! We love him so much!!
